Santa Barbara Real Estate is still going strong. There are no signs that the "bubble" is bursting and that the current price reductions are due to anything else but the normal seasonal slowing of the market in September-November.

We've seen the real estate market soften the last few months. Montecito real estate has been going strong, with pricing increasing. Santa Barbara homes above 1.5 million are still appreciating while homes under 1.5 million are still in flux.

The Carpinteria real estate market has softened the last few months with most homes suffering from slight depreciation. Homes in Carpinteria are staying on the market longer. We'll have to wait and see if this year's Carpinteria home market follows the yearly trend of picking back up in late Spring/Summer.

Montecito real estate is going strong! Homes valued at over $1.5 million are doing well as the value is strong relative to LA, and expensive cities on the east coast. Values in that range are staying strong and moving well. The market for roperties below $1.5 million are still in flux and we haven't seen the same seasonal appreciation as last year. The economy still is looking strong, we just need to get some sunshin!

One of the best neighborhoods in the Upper East is the prestigious Upper East. Located close to the Old Historic Mission and State Street, the Upper East has been a desirable place to live for years. If you are looking for a chance to buy a piece of Santa Barbara real estate, and enjoy historic culture, take a look at the Upper East
