Santa Barbara Shopping
You don't need to travel far to find excellent shopping in Santa Barbara. Enjoy the familiarity of name brand stores, but make sure to spend time visiting the unique specialty and designer stores throughout each shopping district.
Paseo Nuevo (http://www.sbmall.com)
Nordstrom and Macy's are the major departments stores that anchor this relaxing outdoor mall. Many visitors and locals will spend an afternoon enjoying over 80 specialty stores and restaurants, which include Nine West, The Men's Warehouse, Victoria's Secret, Express, Bath & Body Works, Brookstone, Banana Republic Men, and many more specialty shops. Paseo Nuevo is the center of State Street shopping and a must visit for anyone new to the Santa Barbara area.
La Arcada (1114 State Street)
Continue up to the northern end of State Street and find a quaint, Spanish style courtyard. Unique to the location are the bronze statues enjoying a bench or cleaning a window admist the restaurants, cafes, shops, and galleries.
La Cumbre (http://www.shoplacmbre.com)
La Cumbre is a large, indoor shopping mall with over 65 shops. Stores include Robinson's May, Sears, Williams-Sonoma, Eddie Bauer, Ann Taylor, Talbor, Pottery Barn Design Studio and many more.
Farmers' Market (Tuesday's between 500 and 600 State Street, 4-7:30pm)
