Prudential CARES Campaign 2006-2007

• October          We hosted a children’s Halloween party during the annual Ghost Village Road trick or treating even in Montecito.
• November      Filled the Food Bank shelves with turkeys and food for Thanksgiving.
• December      We fulfilled the Christmas wishes for six families at the Domestic Violence Solutions Shelter.
• January           We sponsored an art teacher for the school year at Ellwood Elementary School, grades 1 through 4.
• February        We sponsored a Valentine’s Day drawing for a stay at the Four Season’s Biltmore Hotel with dinner for two and other goodies for all who attended our open houses during the 3 weeks prior to Valentine’s Day.
• March             We painted three classrooms for Adams Elementary School.  Thirty-five of us did all the prep work and painting in two days!
• April                We sponsored the Barbara Ireland Walk for Cancer to raise funds for the American Cancer Society and specifically breast cancer research.
• May                We sponsored a Mother’s Day drawing of a spa treatment at the Ojai Valley Inn and Spa with a basket of goodies for mom for all who came to our open houses.
• June                We will be sponsoring the Westmont College Concert Series for orchestra and voice.
