Prudential CARES Campaign 05-06

• September     We shopped for back to school clothes for the Unity Shoppe to fill their shelves.
• October    
• We presented all the Hospice workers in Santa Barbara with gift certificates for dinner and movies for two for all the work they do in our community.
• We purchased a bench for the Senior Center
• We hosted a children’s Halloween party during the annual Ghost Village Road trick or treating event in Montecito
• November      We filled the Food Bank shelves with turkeys for Thanksgiving.
• December      We filled the Christmas wishes for six families at the Domestic Violence Solutions Shelter
• January           We donated $1500 to Life Chronicles to support their mission.
• February        We had a contest at all of our open houses for a romantic Valentine night at the Bacara Resort including a mini suite, roses, chocolate covered strawberries, and His and Hers spa treatments.  A fellow who just returned from Iraq won and was thrilled!
• March             We sponsored the Spring musical for the Santa Barbara High School Theater Arts Department.
• April                We painted Irene and Ralph McCollum’s house, trimmed their trees, and landscaped their front yard during our spring spruce up campaign.  We did all of this in two days!
• May                We sponsored a Mother's Day essay contest at the Hope School District and we had three student winners.  All the teachers participating received a gift certificate for a manicure and pedicure as well.
• June                We sponsored the Girls, Inc. golf tournament.
